AussieBlogs.com.au is a Free Blogging Platform for Australians to create and the world to see.  Based on the open source blogging platform WordPress, Aussie Blogs may not be the biggest in the blogging community but we think we’ve carved out a pretty good niche.

What makes Aussie Blogs different to the Big Guys?

We believe we have the highest standards as far as what is and isn’t allowed on a public blogging platform.  If you want to create a rubbishy site which has no value to the community, then please, choose one of the larger blogging platforms.  If you want to be part of a family friendly community, a place where it’s safe for your children to visit then we welcome you with open arms.

So What is Aussie Blogs then?

• A real alternative for Australian Bloggers that provides a local platform to express your opinions and ideas
• A gap in the Australian blogging community that to date hasn’t been filled except by Global Corporations
• 100% Australian Owned, 100% Australian Operated and 100% Proud of it!

So whilst we’re on the bandwagon about supporting Australia, how about supporting a FREE Blogging service for Australians!  We know there are many places on the internet you could start up a blog, and we’d be extra grateful if you used us.  If you are currently using Aussie Blogs and you like what we are doing, the best thing you can do for our community is get a friend to set up on Aussie Blogs as well.
